General Terms of Use (Terms of Use)
1. Subject
These General Terms of Use (hereinafter "Terms of Use") govern the access and use of the Krevoxa mobile application and associated services (hereinafter the "Service"), published by the AQ Bros. company (hereinafter "the Publisher"). The Service allows for remote monitoring and control of compatible 3D printers (notably under Klipper).
2. Acceptance of Terms of Use
Access and use of the application, whether via account creation or in guest mode, imply the unreserved acceptance of these Terms of Use by the user.
3. Security, Limitation of Liability, and Lawful Use (IMPORTANT)
3D printing involves components operating at very high temperatures and moving mechanical parts. Krevoxa is a remote monitoring and control software tool, and in no case replaces the hardware safety features (thermal and physical) of your 3D printer
3.1. Material and Physical Responsibility
The Publisher provides the Service "as is". The user acknowledges using the Service at their own risk. AQ Bros. declines all responsibility in case of:
- Material damage to the 3D printer, the user's environment, or any other equipment.
- Print failure, loss of material (filament), or loss of time.
- Fire, injury, or any other physical incident linked to remote or automated use of the printer.
It is the exclusive responsibility of the user to ensure the security of their equipment and to never leave a 3D printer running without adequate physical supervision.
3.2. Responsibility Linked to Printed Content
The user is solely and uniquely responsible for the objects they choose to manufacture using their equipment controlled via Krevoxa. The Publisher exercises no prior or subsequent control over the files used or the physical objects created.
Consequently, AQ Bros. formally declines all responsibility concerning:
- The manufacture, use, or distribution of illegal, dangerous, or strictly regulated objects (including, without limitation, firearms, weapon parts, or any object designed to cause harm).
- The manufacture of objects violating the intellectual property rights, patents, or copyrights of third parties (infringement).
The user agrees to use the Service in strict compliance with the laws in force in their country of residence.
4. Access to the Service and Data Management
The Krevoxa application offers two distinct access modes:
- Use without account (Guest Mode): The user can immediately start exploring the application without creating a personal profile. In this mode, the experience is designed to be local: configuration data is accessible only on the device used.
Warning: In accordance with our data minimization policy, all data linked to a profile without an account will be permanently and automatically deleted after 180 days of inactivity. Furthermore, in case of application uninstallation, reset, or device change before this period, access to this data will be irremediably lost. - Use with account (Cloud Synchronization): To access the full experience, the user is invited to create an account (by email). This mode allows for secure data synchronization across all user devices. Data linked to a registered account is kept and synchronized for life, regardless of application usage frequency. The user agrees to provide accurate information and maintain the confidentiality of their credentials.
The Publisher reserves the right, regardless of the mode used, to restrict, suspend, or delete access to the Service in case of non-compliance with these Terms of Use or abusive use disrupting our infrastructure (e.g.: automated or excessive requests to our servers).
5. Intellectual Property
The name "Krevoxa" has been trademarked with the INPI by the AQ Bros. company. The Krevoxa application, its code, interface, design, and logos are also the exclusive intellectual property of the Publisher.
Any unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution of the name, the trademark currently being registered, or the application is strictly prohibited and may result in infringement proceedings.
6. Modification of Terms of Use
The Publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time to adapt them to Service evolutions or legal requirements. Users will be informed of major changes, and continued use of the application will constitute acceptance of the new conditions.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are subject to French law. In case of dispute relating to the interpretation or execution hereof, and in the absence of an amicable resolution, the courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
